HiBid.com Hosting Auction For Rare Vehicles Seized From DC Solar Ponzi Scheme That Allegedly Ensnared Berkshire Hathaway

HiBid.com is hosting an online auction for 149 classic muscle cars, trucks, luxury cars, and antique vehicles seized by the United States Marshals Service in its investigation of Martinez, California, company DC Solar, accused of running an $800+ million (USD) Ponzi-style scheme. Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. was reported to be an investor in DC Solar and a victim of the company’s sprawling scheme. The collection of desirable and rare automobiles, valued at more than $6 million USD, is being sold on reserve by Apple Auctioneering Company.

The live/online simulcast sale will be held Saturday, October 26th, 2019 in Woodland, California, near Sacramento. The gates will open at 7 a.m. PDT, with live bidding starting at 9 a.m. PDT (12 p.m. EDT).
