Gulfstream recently announced the expansion and renovation of its facility for completions operations in Appleton, Wisconsin, which the company says will enhance the creation and installation of Gulfstream aircraft interiors. The expansion is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2021 and will create more than 200 new jobs. The completions project comes on the heels of the expansion of Gulfstream’s Customer Support’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in Appleton in 2019.

About The Facility

The expansion and renovation of the Appleton completions hangar is part of a partnership with Appleton International Airport and will increase the current space by more than 13,000 square feet (1,208 square meters) for a total of 126,500 ft2 (11,752 m2) for completions. Among the improvements will be an upgraded furniture finishing shop for artisans to work on hand-crafted furnishings, consolidated completions backshops for improved workflow, upgraded HVAC systems, and upgraded shipping and receiving to increase capacity, safety, and efficiency.

“This expansion is another effort in our long-range plan to upgrade and modernize Gulfstream facilities to further support our customers,” says Gulfstream President Mark Burns. “Enhancing the Appleton completions operations is in line with Gulfstream’s culture of continuous improvement and will allow the craftspeople who create Gulfstream’s award-winning aircraft interiors to build on the excellence they already deliver.”
