Gulfstream To Offer Aviation Industry Career Insights At 2022 Farnborough International Airshow’s Pioneers Of Tomorrow Exhibit
Executive jet manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace will participate in the Pioneers of Tomorrow exhibition taking place July 22 at the 2022 Farnborough International Airshow, which runs through Friday in Farnborough, England. The event’s website says Pioneers of Tomorrow is a showcase of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). It provides students, apprentices, graduates, and young professionals considering a career in aerospace with “unprecedented” access to the aviation industry. Gulfstream will share information about business aviation-related careers with show attendees.
“As industry leaders, we have an obligation to foster future engineers, artisans, and aviation experts, and each student who visits the exhibit will have the potential to become such a pioneer,” says Mark Burns, Gulfstream president. “Our employees are dedicated to supporting our industry’s workforce, and we look forward to the next great generation of aviation leaders.”
The Perfect Platform
Organizers say Pioneers of Tomorrow is the perfect platform for those interested in an aerospace-related career to take their first steps. In addition to hands-on activities involving the application of STEAM skills, the event will include a Careers Hub, industry speakers, and an aerial display.
For its part, Gulfstream will highlight career opportunities available at its Gulfstream Customer Support facility in Farnborough. These include licensed inspectors, engineers, and technical training coordinators. Students can also take part in hands-on activities as hosted by employees from Gulfstream’s Farnborough and Savannah, Georgia, facilities.
